WALKS & RETREATS

Being in Nature Walks - Summer 2023

​

What fuller way to experience sea & landscapes than through embodied presence and mindful movement. £7 per session.

​

Tidemills Yoga, 6.30-7.45pm, Monday 7 August

Meet by Newhaven & Seaford Sailing Club,  on Marine Parade, BN25 2QR. We will walk from here along the Seafront to Tidemills where we will roll out our mats for a standing yoga session to the sounds of the waves. Bring a mat and layer up for warmth if the evening air is chilly.

Hope Gap, 9.30-10.45am, Wednesday 9 August
Meeting at South Barn, BN25 4JQ to begin a cliff top walk on Seaford Head Nature Reserve, taking in far-reaching views of the Seven Sisters, down to Hope Gap and returning to South Barn. Be moved, breathe deeply and embrace being outside. Parking at South Barn / No 12 bus along A259 and a 20 minute walk to reach South Barn.

Breathe in the Forest, 6-7.30pm, Thurs 10 August
Meeting in the Exceat car park behind the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre, BN25 4AD to begin a walk in Friston Forest. Pausing along the way to allow breath to deepen, our senses to open, to feel the ground beneath our feet, be inspired by trees and awaken to the living world about us. Please note there is a car park charge of £3. The No. 12 bus stop is close by.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

Please wear suitable footwear for walking, waterproof outer layer if rain is forecast, sun protection if UV is high and insect repellant may also be a good idea. Bring a bottle of water.

 

If you have mobility issues or a medical/musculoskeletal condition please let me know in advance.
