Description
The Pilates Studio creates a multi-dimensional exercise environment for a personal programme that both challenges and supports the body. The use of resistance, springs, weights and a moving platform challenges core stability, builds overall strength, promotes range of movement, balance and control. Classical Pilates Pilates Reformer, EXO Chair, Pilates Arc, Spine Corrector, and fun innovative props such as the Oov, offer a whole body workout for optimal alignment, fine-tuning muscle recruitment patterns, spatial awareness and coordination -suitable for all levels of experience and ideal both as injury post-rehabilitation and to elevate your training to the next level. Small equipment pieces like the Pilates Ring, Foam Roller, gym ball, band and hand or ankle weights may be used in studio and to develop self-practice as homework to support and consolidate your progress between sessions. Incorporating equipment and props facilitates specific and targeted training, infuses an additional understanding and cohesion throughout the body that translates into increased precision, control and performance in all other aspects of movement experience - on and off the mat.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy and additional information: If you wish to join a course after the start date this is possible provided there are spaces available - the course fee for late booking will be pro-rata. Please get in touch if you want to check this out. If the course is full I will have a reserve list - again please get in touch. When you make a booking please note courses are non-refundable once the course has commenced. If you wish to cancel your place on a course prior to the commencement date please give as much notice as possible in order for me to be able to offer the place to someone else who on the waiting list. Missed classes are not refundable. It may be possible, on occasion to make up for a missed class in an alternative session but this will be subject to availability and teacher discretion. The terms for cancelling a Personal Tuition session are 24 hours. Cancellations of less than 24 hours and no-shows will be charged at full price of the session. If a class you are interested in is full please get in touch so I can put your name on the class reserve list and let you know when a place is available. Thank you.
